To develop a healthcare recruitment and retention program that creates viable health clusters in the rural Delta.
Project Synopsis
The DRMR was charged with developing a healthcare recruitment and retention program that creates a viable healthcare cluster in the rural Delta. DRMR had three objectives: Create a Grant Infrastructure Program that would help communities to incubate, build, or expand medical services and/or medical technology; Develop a Recruitment and Incentive Package for Providers and related businesses that enable communities to build a viable healthcare cluster; Identify one-two Delta communities in which to roll out or test the model program.
