Peer Mentoring Toolkit
Project Goal
To develop a peer mentoring toolkit for school systems in the Delta Region, improving the educational, personal and professional resources available to area youth.
Project Synopsis
Creating opportunities for area youth to thrive is critical to the long-term success of the region. Mentoring programs are proven tools of positive youth development, and community school systems deserve a practical resource kit that will utilize best practices and reduce the administrative burden of startup.
In partnership with the U.S. Department of Education Mentoring Resource Center (MRC), our project team compiled resources to aid in the development of a successful mentoring program that benefits area youth, professional partners and the communities in which they live.
